 Falsies Campaign: This was a part of my final class project for my Copy and Visualization class. I started with the Creative Brief and worked my way through an actual campaign that consisted of 3 print ads, 1 television ad, a non-traditional ad and a radio ad. Below are a few examples of the print ads I created in Adobe Photoshop for the campaign.

Print Executions for my Falsies Campaign

PrepZone Campaign: Fox Sports is trying to enter the high school football market with their website PrepZone that streams live football games and gives details into recruiting, the players and all things high school football. I designed this campaign with another classmate in my Copy and Visualization class. Below are a few of the executions we came up.

What I'm doing now

Heather here! I'm currently a student at the University of Florida. I'm majoring in advertising and minoring in business administration. I will be graduating in May of 2012 and will be seeking an entry level job either at an advertising agency or with and in-house agency.  I've been interning at the Independent Florida Alligator, since September, in the advertising department. I helped my territories sales representative make sales calls, design layouts and make proposals for potential clients. I personally sold ads to three different clients. It was a very rewarding experience and I learned a lot about ad sales and the print industry in general. I won first place in our end of the year internship project, which I made an online and print campaign for Rockey's Dueling Piano Bar (which can be seen in my portfolio). I also won intern of the semester for my overall performance.

Thoughtful Distractions

          Five weeks until graduation!! I still can't believe it... The past four years have gone by so incredibly fast! Graduation day seems so far away, but soon i will be walking down, shaking Bernie Machen's hand and receiving my Bachelor of Science in Advertising. It's going to be one crazy day because my mom and brother are coming down from Michigan and my grandparents and uncle are coming up from Stuart.  I am so grateful they are going way out of their way to be with me on this special occasion. My grandfather has been on dialysis since fall so he's had his ups and down, but he's pushed through and will be turning 80 on April, 28th. He's a trouper though and I expected no less from him, he's been holding on long enough just to see me in my cap and gown one more time. He's been my rock through this whole experience, giving me the motivation and advice to strive through even when I was unsure of what major I was going to choose. I want to ...
